TCL terms Blackberry KEYone as Success, all new touchscreen model coming soon
TCL, the hardware partner of Blackberry reveals some interesting bits about KEYone smartphone at a press briefing in IFA Berlin. The device is already available in 35 markets and is going to land in more 15 countries before 2018. The company tagged KEYone as ‘Success’ and said it was hard for them to meet the demand as the device keep getting off the shelves with out of stock label.
TCL further added that a new device is coming soon in October. Unlike KEYone, this one will ditch the physical keyboard and will go all touchscreen as previous Blackberry offerings like DTEK50 and DTEK60. The DTEK series never expanded beyond some handful countries and let’s hope TCL change that.
The rumored specs include newly launched Snapdragon 626 processor as well as IP-68 certification, a first ever for a Blackberry device. Stay tuned for more details.
