Upgraded Asus Zenfone Max launched in India for INR 9,999

Asus has launched an upgraded version of its Asus Max smartphone in India. While the design profile stays the same, the smartphone features new specifications under the hood. It is available in two variants based on 2GB and 3GB RAM capacity, which cost Rs 9,999 and Rs 12,999 respectively.

There are three capacitive buttons below the display, along with power and volume buttons on the right side. At the back, the handset rocks a similar circular camera with LED flash and autofocus sensors on either side. A loudspeaker grille is available at the bottom.

The Taiwanese tech company adds that the smartphone can last longer than its earlier version on a single charge and also has the ability to charge other gadgets as well. It is rated to deliver up to 914.4 hours of standby time, up to 37.5 hours of 3G talk time or up to 32.5 hours of Wi-Fi browsing before it runs out of juice.
