Vivo V5 launched for Rs 17,980 in India, features 4GB RAM, 20MP front camera and more.
Today at an event in Mumbai, Chinese smartphone manufacture Vivo launched another mid-range offering Vivo V5. Priced at Rs 17,980, Vivo V5 is targeting young audience with more attention on audio and selfie-shooter capabilities. Let’s look at the specs.
The V5’s highlight is the 20MP front facing camera, which claims to shoot good selfies even under poorly-lit conditions. Vivo V5 Plus, on the other hand, will sport a dual front camera-setup and will hit the shelves later this year. The V5 is equipped with a Sony IMX 376 (1/2.78-inch, f/2.0) sensor. The company dubs this as the Moonlight Camera, as the V5 makes use of a front-facing flash for taking photos under dimly lighted conditions. This basically means that the LED glows a soft but bright white to act as a light source to illuminate the faces in the selfie when it is relatively dark around.
