Vivo V5 Plus with Dual Lens Front Camera launched in India for ₹27,980

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo today launched the selfie-focused V5 Plus smartphone in India. The smartphone has been priced at ₹27,980, and it will go up for pre-orders from tomorrow and become available to buy via both online and offline retailers from February 1.

he highlight of this newly launched smartphone is its dual-lens camera setup, which is now becoming common but here, the V5 Plus has this dual-lens setup on the front, to make the selfies better.

The V5 Plus has a 5.5-inch Full HD display with the 2.5D curved arc glass and slim bezels, and there is Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection given for resistance during falls. Internally, the V5 Plus is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow based FunTouch 3.0 OS interface.

The Vivo V5 Plus features 64GB of inbuilt storage that’s expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB). It offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS connectivity options. It measures 152.8×74.00×7.26 mm and weighs 158.6 grams. The Vivo V5 Plus comes with a fingerprint scanner embedded right into the home button.

The phone is equipped with a 3055 mAh battery that is non-removable and supports fast charging with its Dual-Charging Engine technology. As for the connectivity, there are most of the standard options and the Dual SIM phone has support for 4G LTE with VoLTE.
