Vivo V5s with 20MP front camera launched in India for Rs 18,990
Vivo’s strategy for India is simple. Focus on three areas – marketing, offline distribution and bank on the new trend of ‘Selfie’. The ad campaigns also hover around selfie capabilities of Vivo’s offerings. The company previously launched Vivo V5 with 20MP Moonlight selfie camera and that followed by bigger V5 Plus with the 20MP + 8MP dual front shooter. Now, the company is all set to bring another member to the V5 family, called V5s.
Vivo V5s comes with 5.5-inch HD LCD display, MediaTek octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB of built-in storage with micro-SD support up to 128GB, 3000 mAh battery and FunTouch 3.0 OS based on Android Marshmallow out of box.
The USP of the device is, of course, its camera offerings. The rear shooter stands at the 13MP resolution with the same tricks found on its predecessors. The front cam is packed at 20MP with Moonlight flash, group selfie mode and face beauty 6.0.
Vivo V5s comes with a dedicated music chip Hi-Fi AK4376 that help to improve the music experience for the user.
The V5s will change the original V5 in shelves. Vivo slightly tweaked the design (For better) and doubled the storage while keeping the price same as before. The device is priced at Rs 18,990 and will be available to buy in two colors – Crown Gold and Matt Black. The pre-order starts from today while the general availability starts from 5th May.
