Vivo V7+ with 24MP Front Camera Launched in India for ₹21,990
Vivo India today launched the V7+ in a special event in Mumbai. The device shall be a successor to the Vivo V5 Plus that was launched in the beginning of this year. Vivo has been a dominant player in the Indian market due to it’s aggressive marketing and huge offline retail network.
The major highlight of the smartphone is the 24-megapixel moonlight selfie camera with aperture f/2.0, face beauty 7.0, video calling-face beauty mode, group selfies and portrait mode. The smartphone comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera with PDAF quick focus, aperture f/2.0 and LED flash.
The smartphone comes with a metal unibody design along with dual U type antenna bands. It is the first device from Vivo to sport a 18:9 display ratio. Vivo V7+ comes with a 5.99-inch FullView HD display and it carries an aspect ratio of 18:9 along with an 84.4 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor clocked at 1.8GHz along with Adreno 506 GPU. This is the first device in India that comes with latest Snapdragon 450 mobile platform. The device is backed by a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and a 3,225 mAh battery. It should be noted that Qualcomm stresses on the fact that the new chipset is 25% more powerful while being 25% more power efficient.
Priced at ₹21,990 ($343), the Vivo V7+ is available in two color variants – Matte Black and Champagne Gold. The smartphone goes on sale starting September 15, but customers can pre-book starting tomorrow, September 7.
