Xiaomi Redmi Pro with dual cameras to be unveiled on 27th July
Chinese headset maker Xiaomi is all set to launch Xiaomi Redmi Pro (aka Redmi note 4) on July 27. This was ‘confirmed’ by a pair of Geekbench benchmark tests. The benchmark test revealed that the core version of the Redmi Pro features a 5.5-inch display with the MediaTek MT6797M chipset under the hood, with a deca-core CPU. 3GB of RAM is inside and Android 6.0 is pre-installed.
Unlike its predecessor, the circular fingerprint sensor is replaced the second rear camera sensor with all metal unibody with antenna bands on top and bottom of the smartphone. Also, the speaker is shifted from rear to the bottom edge.
As of now, there is no word from the company about this new device, and we will update once there is a confirmation.
Another leak also suggested that the Mi Note 2 Pro will launch later, in August. According to a Chinese tipster, the Mi Note 2 Pro will sport a 5.5-inch full-HD Amoled display and will pack a 12-megapixel rear camera. The handset is said to be backed by a 3700mAh battery. One of the biggest highlights of the Mi Note 2 Pro will be the recently unveiled Snapdragon 821 SoC.
Xiaomi is already struggling to keep up with Redmi Note 3 demand, let’s hope the company figure it out with its successor.
