Xiaomi’s first Mi Home off to a great start in India

Xiaomi’s India ambitions are huge. After re-writing the online sales model in the country, the Chinese manufacturer now wants to repeat the success in the offline market as well.

Two weeks ago, Xiaomi announced to open the first ever Mi Home in Bengaluru and on the day of inauguration, the company ranked record 5 crore revenue. Over 10,000 Mi fans had flown from the different parts of the country, claims the company.

Currently, Xiaomi is selling the Redmi series smartphones, accessories, Mi router, Mi Home, Mi VR Play, Mi Band 2 and planning to offer more diversified portfolio in near future. The company aims to open more 100 stores in next two years.
