ZTE Axon 7 Mini with 5.2 inch display officially announced at IFA 2016

It seems that the word ‘Mini’ or ‘Compact’ carries a different meaning for companies. For instance, Sony’s Xperia X Compact has 4.6 inch display while ZTE’s Axon 7 Mini has 5.2 inch display. Following the success of original Axon 7, the Chinese company has just announced the Mini version of it at IFA 2016.

The Axon 7 Mini packs a 5.2 inch full-HD diaply with 1920×1080 resolution, Snapdragon 617 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, 16MP/8MP camera combo and Android Marshmallow out of box. This metal mounted phone has rear fingerprint scanner, front facing speakers, and 2750 mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0.

For instance, the original Axon 7 has better processor, bigger RAM, 20MP rear camera, front facing speakers with a dedicated DAC and more juice to power up the device.

The Axon Mini 7 will be available later this month. The device will be up for sale in Russia, Germany, Spain, Poland, Japan, Australia, India and Saudi Arabia for €299 UVP.

So, what are your thoughts about Axon Mini 7? Will it repeat the same success as its bigger brother? Sound off in comments.
