Huawei Pay might get a second home in Europe

Huawei Pay, the Chinese company’s own implementation of payment system first got launched in China. Now according to latest trademark filing, the world’s third largest OEM might announce it in Europe as well.

Remember, the Europe Continental is Huawei’s second biggest market after China. And it makes more sense to capitalize on the continued momentum in Europe.

A pdf at the EUPIO website reveals the name, logo, and reference to computer software and financial services. In China, the Payment service got a lukewarm response as only a handful of banks joined hands with Huawei. It will be interesting to see how the European market responds it.

Huawei Pay might get an attention at IFA and may get ready for an official launch along with Mate 10, which is expected to see the event launch on October 16th.
