OnePlus 5/5T to get iPhone X styled navigation gestures

The OxygenOS Beta program has been a way to get access to upcoming features before a full-fledged rollout. Usually, these see the light of day, unless faced by a backlash.

In the latest build of OxygenOS for the OnePlus 5 and 5T, a new set of Navigation gestures debut, that works on swipes. Similar to what we see on the iPhone X, a swipe up from the bottom takes you to the Home screen, and a half swipe should show you the recent apps. This makes a lot of sense for big screen devices for the OnePlus 5T.

There’s also an option to change which way you need to swipe to answer or dismiss a call, which can come handy for people moving to OnePlus from a different software package. Depending on the feedback, these features should have a rollout in the coming weeks. We will update you as and when that happens.
