Realme 3 Pro going on sale tomorrow; all you need to know

On Monday, Chinese smartphone maker Realme launched the Realme 3 Pro in India last week and is now going on sale from tomorrow. It is the successor of Realme 2 Pro which was launched last year. Highlights of the phone include a 6.3-inch full-HD+ display, Snapdragon 710 SoC and Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. The Realme 3 Pro is a pretty substantial upgrade over Realme 2 Pro and it will be competing with the very popular Redmi Note 7 Pro.
Realme 3 Pro Price in India
In India, the Realme 3 Pro comes with a price tag of Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB of RAM and 64GB variant whereas the 6GB + 128GB variant carries a price tag of Rs. 16,999. It will be available in Carbon Grey, Nitro Blue, and Lightning Purple colour options along with a gradient finish. The Carbon Grey and Nitro Blue colours will be available from day one, while the Lightning Purple colour option will be released in May.
Realme 3 Pro Sale in India
The Realme 3 Pro will be available for sale from 12 pm (Noon) on April 29 via Realme online store and Flipkart. Realme is giving a chance to customers to buy the phone before the first official sale. Realme recently also organised a pop-up store at Pacific Mall in New Delhi where it gave its customers the chance to buy the smartphone before it opened for sale on Monday.
Realme 3 Pro Launch Offers India
Launch offers include Rs 5,300 worth benefits from Reliance Jio. If the smartphone is bought from Flipkart, then the customer will get flat Rs. 1,000 discount on payment via HDFC Bank credit cards, debit cards, and EMI transactions. The Flipkart buyers will also be eligible for no-cost EMIs up to six months. Also, the first 1000 customers buying the Realme 3 Pro from company’s official website will be getting free Realme Buds.
Realme 3 Pro Specifications
Talking about the specifications, Realme 3 Pro flaunts a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) IPS display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass that is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla 5. Under the hood, it is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC clocked at 2.2GHz, alongside Adreno 616 GPU and coupled with up to 6GB of RAM. The dual-SIM (Nano) Realme 3 Pro runs ColorOS 6.0 based on Android Pie and comes equipped with a 4,045mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging.
Realme 3 Pro Camera Specifications and Features
In terms of Optics, Realme 3 Pro sports a dual camera setup which packs a 16-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, paired with a 5-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it sports a 25-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture. It comes with features such as Ultra HD mode for capturing 64-megapixel images, optimised Nightscape among others and support for 960fps super slow motion video recording.
Realme 3 Pro Storage & Connectivity
It comes with on-board storage of up to 128GB which can further be expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB). Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz+5GHz), a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Micro-USB port. It also comes with Widevine L1 certification to let users stream HD content from services like Amazon Prime Videos and Netflix.
At the event, Realme also launched the Realme C2 which is priced at Rs. 5,999.
