WhatsApp for Android may soon add animated sticker packs support

If there is something that WhatsApp lacks in terms of features compared to its rivals, is the support for sticker packs. And according to the latest WhatsApp beta, that may change in near future.

The latest WhatsApp beta version 2.18.21 has a hidden sticker pack support. WhatsApp still hasn’t activated it on it though, but we have first look at what it may bring to the social platform in coming weeks.

The current sticker packs includes Unchi, Rollie, Dragon Clan, Meep, Fox, Baach, Zanimaux, and The Defenders. Also, these are animated sticker packs, meaning it will have gif animations for an enhanced experience.

Another added inclusion gives group admins more control over group members. An admin can revoke another admin’s access and still can keep him in the group as a member. These features are expected to roll-out on Android first and then may get carried over to iOS and Windows 10.
