Xiaomi’s Amazfit Pace and Cor launched in India
In July, Xiaomi backed Huami launched the Amazfit Stratos and BIP in India. The smartwatches have been immensely popular globally thanks to their affordability factor. Today, the brand is further expanding its portfolio with the launch of fitness-centric Pace and Cor trackers.
It is the higher-end of the two and comes with a 1.34-inch circular transflective color LCD. It is equipped with a 4 GB onboard storage, heart rate sensor, built-in GPS, and a 9-axis IMU (accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer).
The tracker offers up to 11 days of battery life on a single charge and is available for INR 9,999 (US$ 138) in two colors – red and black.
It has a bright 1.23 inch curved IPS LCD touch display, with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and an anti-fingerprint coating. In terms of functionality, you have the familiar activity and exercise tracking, sleep tracking, heart-rate monitor, a weather forecast, alarms, a timer, and a stopwatch.
The Amazfit Cor can display your messages and notifications from social media platforms and also display weather data. It is water resistant up to 50 meters and offers up to 12 days of battery life on a single charge. It is available in Black for INR 3,999 (US$ 55). Both the wearables are exclusively available via Amazon.in.
“We are very excited to bring Amazfit Pace and Cor in the country and we are hopeful on receiving a positive response from the Indian market,” C.P. Khandelwal, Founder, PR Innovations, said in a statement.
