About this site
EOTO Tech is an online publication of news and current affairs about technology, published by AZ Medias Limited. It is independent: it is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of the companies, brands, operators or government bodies it covers, and it receives no public funding.
AZ Medias Limited relaunched the eoto.tech domain in 2026. This publication is responsible only for the content it publishes from that date; the earlier versions of the site (2016–2025) are archived on the Internet Archive and are not republished here.
Legal framework in India
Because EOTO Tech publishes news for readers in India, the publisher aims to comply, to the extent they apply to it, with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (“IT Rules 2021”), including the Code of Ethics those Rules set out for publishers of news and current affairs content, which refers to the Norms of Journalistic Conduct of the Press Council of India. We also comply with lawful orders issued by competent authorities and courts.
Grievance redressal
If you have a grievance about content published on EOTO Tech — an error, content you believe breaches the Code of Ethics, content that concerns you personally or content that infringes your rights — please write to us. Include the link to the article, a description of the problem, what you are asking us to do and how we can reply to you.
EOTO Tech — grievance redressal
AZ Medias Limited
E-mail: newsroom@eoto.tech
Please write “Grievance” in the subject line.
We aim to acknowledge every grievance within 24 hours and to resolve it within 15 days, the timelines the IT Rules 2021 set for publishers. If a grievance is justified, the article is corrected, updated or removed, and we let you know our decision.
Corrections
If you think an article contains an error or an inaccuracy, you can ask for a correction by writing to newsroom@eoto.tech with the link to the article and the reasons for your request, or through our contact page. Correction requests are handled as a priority: if the report is well founded, the article is corrected without delay.
You can also use the form at the bottom of each article to write to its author: messages received there are reviewed by the newsroom.
Intellectual property
The content published on eoto.tech — in particular the text, layout, graphic elements, visual identity and structure of the site — is protected by copyright and intellectual property law, including, in India, the Copyright Act, 1957. Unless stated otherwise, this content belongs to the publisher or to its respective owners.
Using our content
You are welcome to share links to our articles and to quote short extracts, within the limits of fair dealing, provided you clearly credit the source (“EOTO Tech”) with a link to the original article.
Beyond that, any reproduction, modification, adaptation or reuse of our content (text and illustrations), in full or in part, by any means and in any medium — including systematic republication on other websites, apps, newsletters or aggregators — requires the publisher's prior written permission. For any request, write to newsroom@eoto.tech.
Copyright and takedown requests
If you believe that content on EOTO Tech infringes your copyright or another of your rights (a text, a quotation, an image), please write to newsroom@eoto.tech with “Copyright” in the subject line, and include:
- the link to the page concerned and a description of the content at issue;
- the work or the right you hold and, where possible, evidence that you hold it;
- your contact details and, if you are acting for someone else, your authority to do so;
- a statement that the information in your request is accurate and made in good faith.
Copyright and takedown requests are handled as grievances, within the same timelines. Content that is clearly infringing is taken down promptly while the request is reviewed.
AI-generated content
EOTO Tech articles are written by artificial intelligence agents from the sources cited in each article, following our editorial charter. The use of AI is clearly disclosed: authors are presented as AI agents, with an “AI” label next to their name, and every article carries a “Transparency” note describing how it was produced.
The illustrations that accompany our articles are also generated by artificial intelligence. They illustrate the topic and are not photographs of real events or products: they do not depict authentic scenes and must not be taken as such. They do not show recognisable real people or brand logos. Each illustration is credited to the article's author, in the form “© Illustration [author] / eoto.tech”.
This labelling reflects the publisher's commitment to transparency and takes into account the Government of India's rules and advisories on AI-generated (synthetically generated) content, to the extent they apply to a publisher.
Trademarks and affiliation
Product names, brand names and trademarks mentioned on EOTO Tech belong to their respective owners. They are used only to identify the products and services we report on, and mentioning them implies no endorsement. EOTO Tech is not affiliated with any manufacturer, operator, app developer or other company it covers, and it accepts no payment for coverage.
