Exclusive: OnePlus 5T Spotted in Live image
After a lot of commotion, OnePlus finally spilled the beans and confirmed the existence of the OnePlus 5T. ICYMI, that’s just 4 months after the launch of the OnePlus 5, a fan favourite. What we have with us today, is an actual image of the 5T with its retail box, and some of the specifications.
The OnePlus 5T is supposed to bring a bezel-less 18:9 display, with better camera optics and a slightly bigger battery. Whether those changes are worth upgrading for, is up to you. Take a look at this image and tell us what you feel:
The almost edge-to-edge screen is pretty evident here, and the fingerprint scanner is not seen, so it’s safe to assume that it’s on the back. RAM should be at 8GB and storage is seen as 64GB, so that should be at least one of the configurations. We are hoping that it will ship with Android Oreo out of the box. Overall, this is turning out to be a really interesting device, which could excite a lot of people, especially those who aren’t using a OnePlus 5 right now…
It is worth noting that earlier this year when the OnePlus 5 was released, people noticed that it was completely identical to the OPPO R11’s design. This time round, OnePlus 5T does seem to have a lot of resemblance with the OPPO R11s. It’s also no hidden fact that OPPO is the parent company of OnePlus and is where OnePlus gets a lot of its ideas and implementations.
