Roborock Korea has introduced a subscription service for its robot vacuum cleaners, offering customers an alternative to buying the device outright. The programme launched on 2 November 2026 in partnership with official distributors Thinkware Mobile and Hyundai Rental Service.
The service currently covers two versions of the company’s 2026 flagship Roborock S10 MaxV Ultra: the standard model and a variant with direct water supply and drainage. Customers can select a contract lasting three, four or five years. The arrangement combines access to the device with repair and maintenance support during the subscription period.
Three maintenance options are available
Roborock Korea is offering three care packages, allowing subscribers to choose how much maintenance they want handled by the company or its service partners. The options are structured around repairs, replacement consumables and technician visits.
- Free repairs: repair support is included during the subscription term.
- Free repairs and self-care: major consumables are delivered periodically so customers can replace them themselves.
- Free repairs and in-home care: a technician visits at regular intervals to clean the device internally, replace consumables and check its operation.
The in-home option is aimed at customers who prefer scheduled professional servicing rather than managing consumables and cleaning themselves. Under the self-care plan, the regular delivery of major consumables removes the need to purchase those items separately, while the device remains with the customer throughout the agreement.
| Subscription detail | What Roborock Korea has announced |
|---|---|
| Eligible devices | Roborock S10 MaxV Ultra standard model and direct water supply and drainage model |
| Contract terms | Three, four or five years |
| Care choices | Free repairs; repairs and self-care; repairs and in-home care |
| Ownership | Transfers to the customer when the contract ends |
Free after-sales service is provided for the duration of the subscription. Unlike a conventional rental arrangement, the customer becomes the owner once the agreed contract period is complete. Roborock Korea has therefore positioned the service as a way to spread the initial cost while also bundling maintenance into the ownership process.
Launch promotion runs until 30 November
For subscriptions taken during the launch promotion, Roborock Korea is offering a total of five years of free after-sales service, including the standard one-year warranty. The promotion also includes the “Pet Waste Accident Protection Service”, which provides one professional cleaning if the robot vacuum is contaminated by pet waste or a similar substance.
The announcement applies to South Korea, where the service is being delivered through Roborock Korea and its two named distributors. It does not announce an India launch, Indian pricing or availability of the subscription model for Indian customers. For now, the key change is the addition of a service-led ownership option for the S10 MaxV Ultra in the Korean market, alongside direct purchase.
