Players using older Xbox and PlayStation consoles will see several online gaming services end over the next two months. Call of Duty: Warzone is scheduled to stop working on Xbox One and PS4 on 6 November 2026, while Synduality: Echo of Ada and NBA 2K25 will face separate service changes in December.

The dates were highlighted by Pure Xbox in its latest roundup of games being removed from storefronts or losing online functionality. For players in India, the changes are relevant to anyone who still uses the listed console versions or depends on online features in these games. The report does not identify any India-specific exception to the shutdown schedule.

Warzone leaves older consoles this week

Call of Duty: Warzone will be taken offline for Xbox One and PS4 on 6 November 2026. Activision had previously tied the closure to the start of Modern Warfare 4 Season 1, which is now set for that date. The change concerns the Xbox One and PS4 versions; the listed announcement does not say that the service is ending on newer console platforms.

The shutdown means that owners of the affected versions will no longer be able to use Warzone as an online game on those consoles after the stated date. Pure Xbox described it as the most notable closure in the November-December schedule, given the continuing presence of the franchise across console gaming.

More closures are planned for December

Synduality: Echo of Ada will stop accepting in-game purchases on 18 December 2026. Its complete server shutdown is planned for May 2027, so the December date is a restriction on transactions rather than the end of the entire game service. Players will therefore see a staged closure rather than an immediate loss of access to all online features.

NBA 2K25 is scheduled to lose its servers on 31 December 2026. As with the other entries, the report focuses on the online service and does not provide details about which offline modes, if any, will remain usable after the servers are closed.

Other delistings in the pipeline

Amazon’s New World: Aeternum is expected to shut down at the end of January 2027. In addition, Street Outlaws and Street Outlaws 2 are due to disappear from the Xbox Store at the end of December 2026. Pure Xbox said players who want to retain the ability to re-download those two games should purchase them before their delisting.

  • 6 November 2026: Call of Duty: Warzone closes on Xbox One and PS4.
  • 18 December 2026: Synduality: Echo of Ada disables in-game purchases.
  • 31 December 2026: NBA 2K25 servers close, while Street Outlaws and Street Outlaws 2 are scheduled for Xbox Store delisting.
  • End of January 2027: New World: Aeternum is expected to shut down its servers.

Online-only games and services can become unavailable even when players have already invested time or money in them. The November and December schedule underlines the difference between a storefront delisting, the disabling of purchases and a complete server closure: each change affects access in a different way. Indian players on the affected platforms will need to check which version they own and whether they rely on online functionality before the listed dates.
