EloElo Group has raised $80 million in a Series C round led by Hornbill Capital and NBCUniversal, giving the consumer technology company fresh capital to expand its mobile entertainment business and agentic AI products. The company said the money will be directed towards original content in multiple languages, the overseas growth of its micro-drama platform Story TV and additional investment in Dolphin AI, its AI creative suite.
The round also included MIT Investment Co. and existing backers such as Play Ventures, Kalaari Capital, Waterbridge Ventures and Griffin Gaming Partners. The financing places EloElo’s entertainment and AI products at the intersection of two areas receiving increasing attention from technology investors: short-form scripted video built for smartphones and software that can assist with creative production.
Story TV is central to the expansion plan
Story TV is EloElo Group’s short-form entertainment platform, built around micro dramas for mobile-first audiences. According to the company, its catalogue contains more than 5,000 micro dramas across six languages. It adds a new drama every three hours and records an average daily usage time of 95 minutes per user.
Part of the Series C proceeds will support a larger catalogue and more premium original productions. EloElo also plans to take Story TV into international markets, including the United States. For users in India, the company’s multilingual approach and mobile-focused format are significant because the platform is being developed around frequent, short-form viewing rather than a conventional long-form streaming library. The announcement, however, does not provide an India-specific availability or pricing update for Story TV.
- Funding: $80 million Series C
- Lead investors: Hornbill Capital and NBCUniversal
- Planned use: original content, Story TV’s international expansion and Dolphin AI development
A wider consumer AI and entertainment portfolio
Founded in 2020 by former Flipkart executive Saurabh Pandey, EloElo Group operates across consumer entertainment, micro learning and artificial intelligence. Its portfolio includes Story TV, Master, Dolphin AI and Voxy AI. Master is the company’s micro-learning platform, while Voxy AI is described as an AI companion agent.
Dolphin AI is positioned as an agentic creative suite. EloElo is developing it alongside the content and distribution infrastructure used by its entertainment businesses, with the stated aim of applying AI to creative workflows. This integrated model allows the company to work across content development, production and distribution instead of operating Story TV and its AI tools as entirely separate businesses.
The new capital is therefore intended to support both the supply of entertainment and the technology used to create it. EloElo’s plans cover additional original programming, a broader geographic footprint for Story TV and continued development of AI products for creative use. The Series C announcement does not disclose a valuation or break out how much of the $80 million will be allocated to each business.
